A gentle encounter


Ok, here we go. My first blog. Never thought I would do it. But then again, why not. If there is something we feel worth sharing, we might as well jump over the self critical hurdle.

For a few years now, I am practicing mindfulness meditation and I just started the wonderful journey into becoming an MBSR (Mindfulness-based-stressed reduction) Teacher. Hoping to share this wonderful gift of a more intimate encounter with ones own life. Taking the time to get to know ourselves through a deep understanding and acceptance of where we come from and where we are now. Becoming more aware of the beauty that surrounds us in every moment. By feeling our breath and connecting with our body, we can center ourselves in every moment and experience how we are in a gentle and kind way without judgment. Not forcing not pushing- just being. By stopping and becoming aware of our breathing we create a moment of gentle encounter with ourselves right now at this moment.
